SomaticBODY Training

IS A 500-HOUR, KINESTHETIC STUDY OF THE BASIC DEVELOPMENTAL PATTERNS AS THEY ARE EXPRESSED THROUGH THE CELLULAR TISSUES, BODY SYSTEMS, AND THEIR CORRESPONDING RELATIONAL INTERACTIONS.

STUDENTS WILL BE GUIDED THROUGH THEIR OWN EMBODIMENT OF ANATOMICAL STRUCTURES AND LEARN KINESTHETICALLY & THROUGH OBSERVATION AND MOVEMENT REPATTERNING, AS WELL AS THROUGH CREATIVE EXPRESSION IN DANCE, PERFORMANCE, WRITING, AND TEACHING.

Students learn bodywork techniques in every module - Here activation spirals through the connective tissue

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR?

The principles and techniques learned in this course can be used for personal development and for professional enhancement. We recommended it for anyone interested in movement, dance, yoga, bodywork, somatic studies, education, meditation, and other body-mind disciplines.

Student Goals

Somatic Body trains students to become professional facilitators of embodiment, movement, perceptual and relational development. Students build a toolbag of somatic approaches that can be applied in groups or one-on-one teaching, counseling or training practices in areas of dance, movement, therapy, yoga, bodywork, business, and community action. The training provides the opportunity for students to personally discover their own developmental path, experience the embodiment of all their tissues, and engage in the collective process.
